A walk in pictures

On an April morning of wall to wall warm sunshine, pictures speak for themselves. Here is a walk from Boxford to Groton via some rarely used footpaths.

Up the hill towards Bower House Tye.

Through the tunnel path. The first cuckoo that I've heard this year has just called from the trees on the right.

On to the Kersey Road.

Hello sheep.

Through the hedge.

Admire the view to the right.

Through the wooded glade.

Past the cows.

The buttercups are bursting with yellow.

And the hawthorn is just opening.

An oak is trying to compete with a surprising splash of colour in its young leaves.

And back on the road to Boxford.
